Here are some photos of my cats, including the gorgeous Annabell (grey and white) that we adopted from Anne and Fran. Also, Tommydog (tabby and white) who was kindly neutered by Swansea Branch.
We received Annabell in September 2008, when she was a young kitten. She has developed into the most beautiful, loving and cheeky madam!! Loves teasing next doors dog, by sitting on the fence and staring at him!! She has a gorgeous, shiney almost blue/grey coat and her white patches are a pure white. She spends most of her time, watching the dog and any bird that flies over. She also loves to snuggle up to my 14 year old Burmese girl, keeping her nice and warm.
Tommydog turned up in the garden, as a stinking, smelly, very nasty full tom. He was in very poor bodily condition - resulting him in being underweight, full of fleas, worms and had the worst conditioned coat I have ever come across. It was like wire. I borrowed a trap from Anne, but after Annabell went in it THREE times, I abandoned that idea. (She actually went to sleep in it and quite liked being in there!!). Eventually, Tommydog was put in a basket and whizzed to the vets to be neutered. Swansea Branch very kindly sorted that out and he was returned to me for recuperation. He also had an infection and a gastric problem that has been cured with specific cat food, a vast amount of worming and a lot of patience!! Within 2 weeks, he stopped hissing, attacking, growling and has turned into the most LOVEABLE cat. He is called Tommydog due to the fact that he was originally a tom, and he won't leave me alone. He would cry for me on the botrtom step of my stairs when I went up and would be permenantly at my side downstairs. He has truely found his feet. He is a firm member of our family and accepted by the others.
A very BIG thank you to Anne, Fran and Judy for letting me have the honour of adopting both these cats and we all love them dearly.
