Oscar & Felix

I thought you may like to see our 2 beautiful cats whom we adopted in a homing fair around Sept. 2005. At that time they were called Tom & Jerry but we changed their names to Oscar & Felix. Oscar is all black & Felix is black & white. Both Oscar & Felix were timid and did not like being handled but they are now both big softies and love to be stroked and have their bellies tickled. Oscar appears to be the bravest but hides when visitors come - Felix suprised us by being the first to inspect anyone who comes to visit. We had a scary time with Felix when he developed cystitis but is now on daily medication and is completely well. Felix has a "wellness indicator" his tail! When Felix is well, his tail is a perfect C shape, held high & is referred to as his sky hook. When Felix is feeling under the weather, his tail gets lower; the lower his tail, the more unwell he is.
Oscar loves to eat & since starting his tablets, Felix loves to eat too though he is on a special diet. This photo shows them in one of their favourite places, my ironing straight out of the dryer. Oscar & Felix have become confident boys who love being pampered and stroked and are very much loved members of our family.
Bye
Eileen, Carmarthen
