Hello
Just a quick note to say how well Liberty has settled in to her new home – we call her Libby. When she arrived she walked about sniffing and purring for about an hour then settled down on my lap for the next 5 hours!
She seems really happy and content and sleeps at the bottom of our bed. She went out on Monday night and disappeared for an hour and we had to entice her back with some food. She has ignored all her toys, she prefers just to sit on your lap and be stroked. Having said that, she does like to chase some cotton thread around the living room!
She’s been really good with the litter tray, we’re having less success with the scratching post but she doesn’t leave a mark so I think I’ll let her carry on. She’s going to Gower Vets to be chipped tomorrow so we can let her out without worrying so much!
I’ve attached a photo of her on my lap, she is such a lovely cat – we can’t believe our luck. I took it on my mobile so it’s not as clear as it could be. I’ll send more when we have them.
